Drawing and Painting Woodland and Meadow with Nick Pollard

Spend the day with experienced tutor Nik Pollard RCA on location at Folly Farm nature reserve on this exciting Plein Air, drawing and painting workshop , looking at early autumn woodland and meadow. During this one day workshop Nik will draw on his love and understanding of nature and working with a variety of mediums to provide engaging demonstrations, warm-up exercises and drawing tasks. The day will comprise of group work and one to one tuition. Participants will need to bring their own art equipment however basic materials will also be available.

Folly Farm is Avon Wildlife Trust’s very special 250-acre nature reserve sited in the beautiful Chew Valley. In the spring and summer, Folly Farm comes alive, with native bluebells and rare wildflowers adorning this ancient woodland and meadow. This really is the perfect setting for outdoor painting.

A packed lunch will be required and any other refreshments. Please wear suitable footwear.
