Talk by Tamsin John – printmaker turned potter

Tamsin’s talk will give people an idea of her background and enthusiasm for pottery. 

Tamsin went to art school,  trained as a Printmaker and was fascinated and compelled by that for many years, but 10 years ago she discovered a new medium that suited her even better – clay. As well as the magical qualities that clay has, it’s what it can become with your own hands which is so intriguing for Tamsin. She loves that its functional and has a quiet simplicity and beauty of its own.
