An evening with Andrew Hood

Andrew Hood is a Bristol based artist who draws inspiration from both British and international landscapes, transforming overlooked scenes into compelling artworks. Frequent travels to places like Tuscany, Morocco, and the Cornish coast provide rich material for his paintings, yet he remains equally inspired by the subtle charm of local settings. Drawing plays a fundamental part in Andrews creative process and during the talk he will discuss how he carefully selects his subject matter and takes from a simple sketch through to a finished painting’.
