Meet ups

We arrange to meet regularly for coffee at a variety of venues in Bristol. We then venture out for some urban sketching.

Exhibitions

We hold one or two exhibitions each year.

Indoor sketching and painting en plein air

We organise a variety of free events for members throughout the year.

These include

life drawing classes every few weeks,
monthly Saturday morning painting sessions during the autumn and winter with a clothed model and a still life,
and visit a variety of stunning venues; private gardens and places of interest in the summer for painting outside.

We have a regular programme of workshops and demonstrations to inspire and expand your horizons and for you try new techniques and mediums. These are for members only and need to be booked and paid for in advance

Meets ups and urban sketching

It’s great to meet up and discuss art over a coffee or a glass of wine. We arrange to meet regularly for coffee at a variety of venues in Bristol.

We then venture out for some urban sketching, come back after an hour or so to share our work and perhaps stay for lunch. It is a chance to make new friends and learn about the club’s activities
